State Representative Chuck Sims (R-Coffee County) is facing another DUI charge, his second in as many years. Sims was arrested in Coffee County on April 2nd.

Previously, Sims was pulled over by Atlanta police in the parking lot of a hotel he was staying at while the 2011 legislative session was ongoing. That charge would later be dropped in exchange for Sims pleading guilty to reckless driving.

The representative from District 169 was first elected to the state house in 1997.
