THREE CHARGED IN BURGLARY
Three young men have been arrested and charged with a residential burglary in Moultrie- all of them teenagers.
Police say that 2 juveniles, one 16 and another 14, as well as Ta’marcus Thornton, 18, were seen by a witness leaving the site of the break-in and the homeowner was notified.
According to the report most of the items taken were recovered. The two youngest burglars were taken to the Regional Youth Detention Center in Crisp County. One of the juveniles was later released and Thornton was jailed and later freed on a $10,000 bond.
HOME INVASION SUSPECTS ARRESTED
Eric Beck, 28, was sought by Colquitt County officials in connection with an armed home invasion that took place in November.
He was spotted by a sheriffs’ deputy and arrested Sunday. Julie Canfield, 32, was taken into custody the day of the incident. The two are charged with home invasion.
