MOULTRIE — Closing arguments could begin at the double murder trial of Antonio Williams in Colquitt County.
The incident took place in March of 2013. A total of four people were wounded by gunfire from an AK-47 outside a Moultrie residence.
Killed in the hail of bullets were 42-year old Eric DeBruce and 50-year old James Key. According to police, Derek Rushing was the actual trigger-man while Williams acted as the driver of the getaway vehicle.
Rushing entered a guilty plea to charges of voluntary manslaughter in a deal with prosecutors and agreed to testify against Williams.
