VALDOSTA — A man police say fired shots into an apartment building in Valdosta has turned himself in to authorities in Alabama.

Jabe Hepburn, 23, was taken into custody in Evergreen, AL, and will be extradited to Valdosta.

Investigators said arrest warrants have been signed in Lowndes County on Hepburn for three counts of aggravated assault, one count of possession of a firearm during a the commission of a crime and three counts of home invasion in the first degree.

Hepburn’s arrest comes just hours after police said he fired shots into an apartment at 1601 Norman Drive.
