Stalking Suspect Caught; Search for Shooter; Afghan Pilots at Moody

STALKING SUSPECT CAUGHT

THOMASVILLE — A suspect sought in connection with a stalking case in Thomasville was discovered hiding in a garbage can by a Police K-9 unit. The search was on for 22 year old Robert Sharpe for probation violation and felony burglary had been issued for him as well.

SEARCH FOR SHOOTER CONTINUES

TALLAHASSEE — The search continues for the shooter that wounded a Florida A&M University student and a student from TCC. The on campus incident prompted officials to place the FAMU campus on high alert; the students suffered non-life threatening injuries.

AFGHAN PILOTS ARRIVE AT MOODY

MOODY AFB — Let the training begin now that the first of the A-29 aircraft that will be used to prepare Afghan pilots have landed at Moody Air Force base. The local installation is one of three that will participate in the support mission. Base officials say that 30 of the Afghan pilots and 90 afghan maintenance personnel will take part in the four year training exercise. A total of twenty A-29 aircraft will be used.
