VLPRA-LogoVALDOSTA, GA – Professional golfers competing in the South Georgia Classic will teach local kids how to play the game.  The Valdosta-Lowndes County Parks & Recreation Authority and Academy Sports + Outdoors are offering a free youth golf clinic April 29th as part of the South Georgia Classic Tournament at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club.

The VLPRA Junior Clinic presented by Academy Sports + Outdoors is no ordinary game of putt-putt.  Web.com Tour players are the instructors in this clinic that teaches the basics of driving, putting and chipping, all at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club.  The golfers will teach children the fundamentals just days before they compete in the South Georgia Classic.  It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for local kids to learn golf from a pro who could be on next year’s PGA Tour.
