VALDOSTA, GA – Valdosta State University will be hosting two football camps this year.

The David Dean Youth Camp will be from May 27 to May 30 (8:00am – 12:00pm). This camp will give boys and girls ages 5-13 a chance to learn basic fundamentals of playing the game of football. The Valdosta State coaching staff will teach all positions. The cost will be $100 per camper, and pre-registration is encouraged.

Valdosta State will be hosting a mini-camp on June 16 at the Valdosta State University Field House. Check in will be from 8:00-9:00 am and the camp will be from 9:00-11:00 am.

For the first time, the Traveling Mini Camp will be available here in Valdosta, for grades 8 – 12. Each position will learn the basic fundamentals and concepts of the Valdosta State Spread Offense and 4-3 Defense. Attendance is strongly encouraged for seniors looking to play at the next level.

This camp will be an opportunity for the Valdosta State coaching staff to evaluate student-athletes who are not normally seen in the immediate Valdosta State University area. The cost will be $40.00 per person, and pre-registration is encouraged
