THOMASVILLE, GA – Every three years, as part of an ongoing initiative to provide custom-tailored law enforcement service to the community, the Thomasville Police Department conducts a survey of public opinion. These surveys are then used to gauge the effectiveness of past performance and to create a new three-year plan which will address newly-identified issues and improve existing services. This year’s survey will be available through the month of March and can be accessed by visiting www.thomasville.org/police.
The Police Department is encouraging all Thomasville residents to take the survey.
“These surveys are an important part of our planning process, so we would like to encourage Thomasville residents to take a minute or two of their time and complete a survey,” Chief of Police Ellis Jackson said.
This year also marks the first year that the TPD survey will be available online.
“We are striving to make it as convenient as possible for citizens to communicate with us, so we have made this survey easily accessible from our website,” said Jackson. “In addition to convenience, we wanted citizens to be comfortable providing feed back to us, so we have partnered with Thomas University, who will administer the survey on our behalf.”
“Thomas University will ensure that all results we receive are 100 percent anonymous,” Jackson noted.
