Valdosta Police Continue Search for Shooting Suspects

valdosta police gun VALDOSTA, GA – On Saturday November 30th, Valdosta Police officials responded to a call from South Georgia Medical Center regarding a shooting. When Valdosta Police Officials arrived at SGMC they were told Ralp Robinson, Shekirrah Thomas, Demereay Doe, and Bryant Turner all had suffered injuries from gun shot wounds. Police later found out the shooting had occurred at the corner of Gordon Street at North Ashley Street shortly after 3:00 a.m.

All four victims were in a vehicle stopped at the traffic light when another vehicle pulled up beside their vehicle and began shooting. They then drove to SGMC to be treated for their injuries. Robinson was shot in the head and was flown to Tallahassee for further treatment.

Police have determined a motive for the shooting. It appears to stem form an argument by the victims and the offenders earlier that same night.

After being released from SGMC, Doe was arrested for possession of marijuana and for outstanding, unrelated open warrants. Turner was also arrested for theft by receiving stolen property because he was in possession of a stolen handgun during the incident.
