VALDOSTA, GA – The City of Valdosta will be closed for the Christmas Day and New Year’s Day holidays.

The Sanitation Division will NOT collect residential garbage, recyclables or yard waste on Wednesday, Dec. 25 or Wednesday, Jan. 1. Citizens who normally have their sanitation collected on Wednesdays should place their garbage, recyclables and yard waste at the curbside by 5 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 26 and Thursday, Jan. 2 for both Wednesday and Thursday pickups.
