VALDOSTA, GA – The Special Operations Division of the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office have arrested two individuals for identity theft. Nashika Brunson, 22, Murray Road, Valdosta, and Albert Lee Brunson Sr., 43, Merrimack Drive, Fitzgerald, Georgia, were caught Thursday in a traffic stop on Interstate 75. Investigators asked if they could search the vehicle. During the search investigators found a notebook with the name, date of birth, and Social Security numbers of over seventy people. In addition to the notebook, authorities also found twenty credit cards that were encoded with stolen credit card information.
Nashika and Albert Brunson were arrestd and transported to the Lowndes County Jail. Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office have contacted the local office of the U.S. Secret Service to help in contacting the victims and learn the source of the information.
