LOWNDES COUNTY, GA – Lowndes County voters will be seeing the Special Purpose Option Sales Tax on the ballot today as they go out to vote. SPLOST has been in place in Lowndes County for more than 25 years, and many see the sales tax as an investment to the community. While others see the tax as a hindrance on the circulation of money in the community. To let your voice be heard and go out and vote today.

Polls will be open from 7 am to 7 pm.
