VALDOSTA, GA – “Do you hear that?” You were probably asking that question yesterday afternoon as you heard the Wings of Freedom Tour fly into Valdosta.  The Wings of Freedom Tour consists of  a WWII Vintage Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress, a Consolidated B-24 Liberator and a North American P-51 Mustang. The Tour will be in Valdosta at Valdosta Regional Airport from Wednesday, November 6 to Friday, November 8 to honor our WWII Veterans. The Collings Foundation’s Wings of Freedom Tour brings the extremely rare bomber and fighter aircraft for display as a part of their 110-city nationwide tour. The aircraft were in Albany before landing in Valdosta.
