Valdosta, GA- A Valdosta man has been indicted on a number of drug charges that could land him behind bars for nearly four decades. 38-year old Wesley ‘Westside’ White was indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of Possession with Intent to Distribute crack cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana.
The case was investigated by the FBI’s Southwest Georgia Gang Task Force, made up of officers and agents of the FBI, Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office, Valdosta Police Department, Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office, Moultrie Police Department, and Thomasville Police Department.
White was arrested on June 3rd at his home on Hollywood Street. There, they found approximately three hundred grams of cocaine and two pounds of marijuana valued at $35,000.
