methHahira, GA- Two Sparks men and a Hahira man are behind bars at the Lowndes County jail after a Sunday night traffic stop led to the discovery of a mobile meth lab. Deputies from the LCSO and GSP attempted to stop a car near MM 20 around 10:15pm that they suspected was transporting drugs.

When they attempted to perform the traffic stop, the car took off northbound at speeds reaching 100 miles per hour. The vehicle crashed around 10 miles later- once the car was disabled, officers found components and ingredients for a meth lab which had not yet been assembled.

30-year old Kenneth Youmans claimed responsibility for the meth lab- he now faces charges of possession of substances with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine, and open container.

The driver, 29-year old Adam Tate, faces a long list of traffic violations including aggravated assault on a police officer and fleeing and attempting to elude the police. The third man, 33-year old Charles Lynn, is charged with possession of marijuana and open container.
