A 46-year old Ocilla man has died following a Thursday night wreck in Tift County. It happened around 6pm near the intersection of Highway 319 and Mt. Olive Church Road, just north of the Tifton city limits.

Officials on scene said  a car driven by a Florida man, 45-year old Jeffrey Ramsey, crossed the center line and struck a pickup head on. The driver of that pickup, 46-year old Ivi Istre, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Charges against Ramsey are pending as the GSP continues their investigation.
