Thomasville Man Gets Life In Wife’s Murder

behind barsA 56-year old Thomasville man will spend the rest of his life in prison after killing his wife last year. William Knight heard his sentence on Thursday morning inside a Thomas County courtroom.

Knight plead guilty to stabbing and killing his wife, 52-year old Shirley Knight, inside her bookkeeping office in Thomasville in 2012. The killing was said to stem from a domestic dispute between the couple- the 56-year old was tracked down in Cordele just hours after his wife’s body was discovered.
