Union, MS- A tip from someone in Mississippi has led to the capture of a 29-year old man wanted in Valdosta for a May home invasion. Police yesterday circulated the picture and information of Clauzelle Culpepper in hopes of tracking him down.

Less than 24 hours later, Valdosta police received a tip that stated Culpepper was in Union, Mississippi. VPD investigators followed up on the tip and alerted police- by 3:45 Thursday, the 29-year old was behind bars in Mississippi.

He remains in a Union, MS jail as he awaits extradition back to Lowndes County.
