In just five days, those who ‘sag’ their pants in Moultrie could soon be ticketed and fined. The city council there is expected to pass an amendment to their indecency ordinance at their upcoming June 18th meeting.

The amendment would define indecency, as well as make seven activities unlawful:

Actual or simulated sexual activity or masturbation,  lewd exposure of sexual organs, lewd appearance in a state of partial or complete nudity, lewd caress or indecent fondling of the body of another person, urination or defecation, the wearing of pants more than three inches below the top of the hips (crest of the ilium), exposing the skin or undergarments, and exposure of undergarments by the lifting, lowering or removing of outer garments.

The fine for a first offense is not less than $25 and for subsequent offenses not more than $200. Community service of up to 40 hours may be ordered instead of or in addition to the fine.
