A 20-year old Moultrie man has been found guilty of murder in connection with the November 2012 death of 57-year old Dominga Trejo. Alphonso Moore heard the verdict Friday inside of a Colquitt County courtroom.
The 57-year old was carjacked outside the Quik Mart on Highway 133 while waiting inside the vehicle for her husband. Police say Moore kidnapped the woman in a robbery gone bad, then shot her to death before dumping her body outside the Regency Village mobile home park.
A sentencing date for Moore has not yet been set.
