Valdosta, GA- A spokesman for Hooters confirmed to WVGA and ValdostaToday.com that the Valdosta location of Hooters will open later this year.

Spokesman Scott Yates said Wednesday that the restaurant on Club House Drive will reopen ‘sometime in the third quarter of the year.’

The location previously closed in March of 2011. It was one of nine restaurants that were forced to close due to a licensing disagreement with the Atlanta-based chain’s parent company.
