Valdosta, GA- A 62-year old man is dead after being shot to death inside Ashley Beauty Supply late Friday night. Kanwaljit Serai was shot during an apparent armed robbery attempt at closing time Friday.

Although police have no suspects at this time, they say that they are working several leads in the case. Valdosta Police Chief Brian Childress said over the weekend that the Friday night incident appears to be a random incident, and that the business may have been specifically targeted.
