Police are asking pawn shop owners to be on the lookout for stolen guns after thieves took a Norman Park man’s entire collection of more than 20 guns in a daytime home robbery.
Pawn shops follow several security checks to ensure they do not purchase stolen guns, but some guns do slip through. If a gun is found to be stolen after a shop has purchased it, the shop owners must turn it over to police and absorb the financial loss.
If you know anything about that Norman Park gun heist, you’re asked to Call the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office.
