Each day a different band will perform live music from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the Lowndes County Courthouse lawn. This year’s lineup of bands is:
May 6 – Loomis Orange
May 7 – 41 South
May 8 – Trailer of Tears
May 9 – Jack Rabbit Slim
May 10 – Too North
The Brown Bag Lunch Concert Series, sponsored by the Central Valdosta Development Authority and the City of Valdosta, is free and open to the general public. While enjoying the concert, attendees may purchase lunch and beverages from a variety of downtown restaurant booths located on the front lawn.
The concert series is held in observance of National Historic Preservation Month, which serves as a showcase for local communities to honor their past and help build their future.
