Valdosta, GA- Police in Valdosta are investigating a Monday afternoon armed robbery. The incident took place around 2pm at a home on the N. Oak Street Extension.

A 90-year old woman told officers that when she was outside her home, a black male walked up with a handgun and demanded cash. He followed the woman into the home, took an unknown amount of money, then ran from the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20s with short-to-medium length hair, wearing a red shirt and dark colored pants. Anyone with information is asked to call the VPD at 671-2950.
