Josh Whitaker, 41, is back in jail for cooking meth just three weeks after he was released on bond.
Thomas County Narcotics agents say Whitaker was cooking meth at a mobile home on Myrick Road. Fire and EMS personnel where called to the scene because of toxic smoke throughout the house. Police also found a hot plate, gas generator and a glass jar containing meth oil.
Whitaker was just released from jail three weeks ago on a $26,000 bond. He now faces new charges of manufacturing meth, meth possession, and unlawful possession of ephedrine.
Whitaker was denied bond.
