Officials at Second Harvest Food Bank say 5,000 of the rubber ducks have already been sold for this weekend’s Georgia Derby Duck Race. The event begins Saturday as the ducks will make their way from Splash Island at Wild Adventures and head down Paradise River.

The money raised through the number of rubber duck adoptions will feed thousands of people in the 30 counties Second Harvest serves.
