Investigators in Colquitt County are searching for a roving band of home burglars who have broken into several houses already this month. There have been a half-dozen daytime burglaries reported, with all of them occurring during the workday, between 8am and 5pm.

Police say the thieves have stolen electronics, guns, and even groceries from the homes. There appears to be no set pattern, either- the thieves have hit both the east and west sides of the county.

Residents are being asked to keep a lookout for suspicious behavior in their neighborhood. Anyone with information on the burglaries is asked to call the Colquitt Co. Sheriff’s Office.
