turner field 1Miami, FL- The 2013 edition of the Atlanta Braves have a chance to be a part of team history Wednesday night when they take on the Marlins. A win would put the Braves at 8-1 to start the season, the second-best start in franchise history (13-1 in 1994).

Lefty Mike Minor (1-0, 1.23 ERA) takes the hill at Marlins Park, opposed by Miami’s Alex Sanabia (1-0, 0.00 ERA). The younger of the Upton brothers, Justin, hopes to continue his torrid hitting streak against the 24-year old right-hander.

In Upton’s first eight games as a Brave, he has hit 6 home runs and has at least one hit in at seven of the team’s first eight games.
