Vietnam Veterans Moving Wall Coming To Adel

vietnam-wallCook County for Vietnam Veterans proudly announces that the Vietnam Veterans Moving Wall will be on display in Cook County, GA  from 3 P.M., on 26 September 2013, until its departure at noon, on 30 September. The display area will be in the field behind the Welcome Center and Burger King in Adel,  I-75 Highway  Exit 39.

We support our United States Veterans of the Vietnam War, remembering those who served, and those who have not returned. The names inscribed on this Moving Wall represent soldiers who gave the fullest measure of devotion. We offer respectful gratitude for their sacrifices.

We do not comment on the political or social  climate of the Vietnam Era, but to say that a heartfelt, “Thank You,” is long overdue to our heroes of that Southeast Asian War. Parades were not part of their homecoming.

May all of the visitors  passing  this Wall be reminded of the courage it takes to face an enemy. Our Veterans  live in our hearts as Heroes worthy of remembrance. Those Veterans walking among us are asked to accept our gratitude for their service. “Thank you, welcome home, and may God bless each of you.”
