The Vietnam Moving Wall has made it’s way to Adel, Ga for a quick visit. The Moving Wall is a replica of the Vietnam Veterans Wall in Washington D.C.  The Moving Wall also contains 58000 plus names of military members we lost in the war in the order of loss.

25 September – arrival of The Vietnam Moving Wall

26 September – 9AM set-up The Moving Wall; begin public 24-hour displays 12:00PM

27 September – Opening Ceremony at 10AM

28 September

8:00AM – 5K Run, with 1 mile walk for non-runners (possibly; TBA on 9/21/13) after Committee meeting)
2PM – Presentations of Crosses of Military Service by Dixie Chapter
Number 2576 United Daughters of the Confederacy
4PM – Flag-folding demonstration Boy Scout Troup #1534 Buford GA
6PM – Gospel sing by “In His Name”
open to other gospel groups and/or individuals upon request

29 September

9:30AM—- Memorial Service with Rev. Dillard Ensley
5:00PM—-service for Vietnam veterans with Rev. Jimmy Parker
6:00PM—-FREE meal for Vietnam veterans
6:00PM to 10:00PM …… Private Reflection… The Moving Wall is open for Vietnam veterans and Gold Star Families during this time. Reopens for general public at 10 PM

30 September – Closing Ceremony 10AM

–At 12:0000PM– The Moving Wall will be taken down and event will closed
