The 32nd Annual Hahira Honey Bee Festival will be Sept. 30 thru Oct. 5, 2013 in Hahira, Ga. This year’s festivities consists of arts and crafts, food, a kids zone, dog show, 5k run and more. New to the Honey bee Festival this year is a free tennis instruction class for children.
The schedule of events for the 32nd Annual Honey Bee Festival are as follows:
Monday, Sept. 30th
- 7-9 a.m.—Kick-Off Breakfast at the Community Center-Randall Street
Tuesday, Oct. 1st
- 8-10 a.m.—Senior Walk at the Community Center-Randall Street
Wednesday, Oct. 2nd
- 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.—Reception at the Community Center. Everyone is Welcome!!
Friday, Oct. 4th
- 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. –Arts, Crafts & Food Concessions
Saturday, Oct 5th
- 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Arts, Crafts & Food Concessions . Entertainment All Day (stage behind caboose)
- 5K Run – 8 a.m. Community Center
- Dog Show – 10 a.m. Grassy area Marshall St.

Parade Start Time – 12:00 Noon
One of the largest parades in S. GA. Kicks off with Moody AFB Honor Guard and the Grand Marshall Fred Wetherington; of Wetherington Farms, and Honored Citizens Elaine & David Dillard leading the procession of Lowndes High GA. Bridgmen Band, Local Queens, City Officials, County & State Officials, Floats, and lots of Shriners.
