Braves Snap Long Scoreless Streak Against Brewers

turner field 2After being held scoreless for 24 consecutive innings, the Braves broke out of their hitting slump in a big way Sunday to salvage a game against the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Braves had failed to score in the first two games of the series, but hopped on Brewers starter Alfredo Figaro for four runs in the first inning Sunday to snap that 24-inning scoreless streak.

Brian McCann, Jordan Schaefer, and Chris Johnson all homered in Sunday’s win.
