All good things must come to an end…and a long winning streak for the Braves ended with a 4-2 loss in Flushing Sunday night against the Mets. Cory Gearrin surrendered three runs in the 8th inning, wasting a strong outing (6.2 IP, 1 ER, 5K) from starter Julio Teheran.

Dan Uggla added his 10th home run of the year, a solo shot in the 7th. 21 of the Braves’ 30 wins have come from two long winning streaks- 13 of 15 to start the season and this current 8-game streak.
