TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Leon County Sheriff’s Office says arrested a 13-year-old for making a threat to a school on social media, according to a report from WCTV.

A Swift Creek Middle School student was investigated after the incident which took place about two months ago. The student posted a photo of himself holding a bag with the caption, “Let’s see if I can shoot the pistol with my left hand.”

According to the WCTV report, someone commented on the picture two weeks ago, saying “Let’s see if we can shoot up the school with both.”

Deputies say the 13-year-old responded with, “I’m ready let’s go.”

LCSO says no evidence has been discovered to prove the student would have carried it out but the eighth grader was charged with written threats to do harm.
