VALDOSTA — In our continuing series with candidates for city office in the upcoming Valdosta elections, we have a conversation with Mayor John Gayle.

Gayle was born in Louisville, Kentucky, but moved to Valdosta early and graduated from Valdosta City Schools.  He is a retired businessman and involved in many civic projects and boards prior to being elected as mayor.
