VALDOSTA,GA – The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office has continued their investigation of the shooting that occurred on Thursday, January 09, 2014 on North Valdosta Road.

On Friday afternoon, investigators signed an arrest warrant for Gerald Griffin, 22 years old, Patrick Drive, Valdosta, Ga. He was later stopped and arrested by deputies while driving on Highway 84 near James Road. Griffin was taken to the Lowndes County Jail where he is being held and charged with aggravated assault. Investigators are continuing to work on this investigation and trying to establish a clear motive for the violent attack.

Additional charges may be sought for Griffin and other persons who are believed to be involved.
