A Colquitt County man is in the hospital with serious injuries after an attack at his home.

According to police, Zebulon Meyer,29, stabbed his neighbor, Joe Weathers, early Saturday morning. Deputies believe Meyer and his wife were having problems, and he thought she was sleeping at Weathers’ home.

Weathers was stabbed in the back, stomach and shoulders. Relatives say he is in critical condition.

Meyer is charged with aggravated assault.
