VALDOSTA, GA – The Annual Survivors and Caregivers Reception for the 2014 Relay for Life of Lowndes County will be held on April 4 at 6:00 p.m. at CrossPointe Church.
This year the event is hosted by the American Cancer Society and the Pearlman Cancer Center. They have partnered together to honor cancer survivors and caregivers during an evening of dinner, fellowship, and recognition. The event is free for cancer survivors and their caregivers.
The evening will feature motivational speaker Mark Webb, MS, LMFT. Mark will present the 7 Secrets to Living Each Day to the Fullest. Cancer survivors and caregivers are asked to register by March 28. Please contact Pat Young at 229-560-2524 or patriciayoung@lowndes.k12.ga.
The 2014 Relay for Life of Lowndes County will be held on May 2 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Valdosta Middle School Track. Teams are encouraged to begin signing up atwww.relayforlife.org/lowndesga or by contacting Robbie Dixon at 229-560-1841.
