Valdosta, Ga-Fireworks are a vital element when it comes to celebrating the 4th of July. If you would like to experience more than the fireworks display in your front yard. Here are a few places in Valdosta where you can see a great fireworks display.

Spirit of America Celebration at the Valdosta Mall

SOAThe 18th Annual Budweiser ‘Spirit of America Celebration’, hosted by the Black Crow Media stations and presented by Austin’s Cattle Company, will be taking place in the Valdosta Mall parking lot at 3pm. Expect a day of family fun, food, prizes and FIREWORKS!! Not to mention a live musical performance from country artist JJ Lawhorn. Did I mention that it’s FREE? Fourth of July Celebration at Wild Adventures

Wild Adventures is back this year with another spectacular display of fireworks. Free admission will also be offered to all active military, disabled veterans and military reservists July 4 –July 7. There will be live music and dancing. Plus, tons of activities to partake in before the festivities begin. The fireworks display will take place in the evening around the lake. Valdosta-Lowndes County Parks & Recreation Authority Spirit of America Fireworks Extravaganza

When: Thursday, July 4th, 2013 at Nightfall

Where: Norman Drive area // East side of I-75 near exit 18

How Much: Fireworks can be viewed at no charge

If the VLPRA fireworks show is rained out Thursday, it will be rescheduled for Friday night.

FitzgeraldFourth of July Celebration

What: Enjoy, free drinks, hotdogs, music and contests for all ages.
Where: Paulk Park, Fitzgerald, Ga.31750

 Lake Park Fourth of July Celebration

What: Enjoy a parade, street dance, festival and fireworks
Where: Parade on Longpond Road, Festival on Cotton Avenue, Street Dance on Cotton Avenue in front of Fire Department and Fireworks at Tom Pond.
When: 7/4/13 at 9am-9pm
