The Theatre Guild Valdosta is looking for a cast for 9 to 5: The Musical. The musical is based on the popular movie with songs written for the stage by Dolly Parton. According to the Theatre Guild Valdosta, auditions for all shows are open to everyone and no prior stage experience is necessary. It is also not required to be a member of Theatre Guild Valdosta to participate in a show.
Auditions will be held June 3rd and June 4th at 6:30 p.m. at the Dosta Playhouse,122 N. Ashley St., Downtown Valdosta. Auditionees are to prepare 32 bars of a Broadway style song which showcases your vocal range and agility and be able to sing it a cappella. You will read from the show scripts. Wear comfortable clothing in which you can move to basic dance steps which you will be taught. Bring current head shot that may not be returned.
