BAINBRIDGE, Ga. – Bainbridge Public Safety, in cooperation with the Thomas County Sheriff’s Office and Thomasville Police Department, has announced the arrests of two suspects in connection with several armed robberies in North Florida and South Georgia.

Authorities arrested Kealeeon Miranda on Thursday afternoon and Darrell Perry early Friday morning in Thomas County.

BPS says they received an anonymous phone call regarding the identity of one of the suspects, later revealed to be Miranda. Authorities used camera footage and fingerpritns taken from a robbery in Baker County to identify Miranda.

Officials say they conducted surveillance on Miranda’s residence and found that three small children lived in the home, so they made contact with him at his work place at a gas station.

According to a BPS press release, Miranda did not resist and was fully cooperative upon learning of the warrant for his arrest.

Deputies and officers conducted a search at Miranda’s residence, where items tied to the robberies were recovered, including clothing and guns. Miranda also gave authorities the name of the second suspect, identified as Darrell Perry.

TCSO investigators arrested Perry at 4:30 a.m. Friday morning as he returned to Thomas County from out of town.

Both men are suspected of conducting approximately ten armed robberies over the last month in various cities, ranging as far north as Macon and Athens, Georgia.
