Suspect arrested in Moultrie homicide

MOULTRIE – A suspect has been arrested in connection to the murder of a man in Moultrie earlier this month, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation confirms.

Thomas Lee Tyler, 37, also known as “Squeeze,” was arrested Thursday for the murder of Shvensky Collins, 25.

Tyler is charged with felony murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Tyler was booked into the Colquitt County Jail.

The GBI says the investigation is currently in progress and will continue as agents and Moultrie Police continue identifying and interviewing witnesses.
