The following is a summary of new or updated/expanded food recalls impacting Georgia. For specific product identifiers (lot codes, expiration dates, etc.) and additional recall info, please click the link which will redirect you to the official recall notice.

Frito-Lay Jalapeño Flavored Kettle Cooked potato chips under the Lays and Miss Vickie’s brand names due to the potential presence of Salmonella in the seasoning. The products were distributed in retail stores and via foodservice, vending and other channels throughout the U.S.

La Granja Inc. Paleteria, Mango Flavored Ice cream popsicles, because the product has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella Enteritidis. Recalled products include those with expiration dates 210218 (February 21, 2018) and 280218 (February 28, 2018) and UPC code 0010439212.

Uncle John’s Pride, LLC., ready-to-eat smoked meat and poultry sausage products that may be contaminated with extraneous materials, shipped to foodservice and retail stores in GA, AL and FL.

Beyond Meat Feisty Crumbles from three production lots because they may contain low levels of undeclared peanuts. The recalled products were distributed to multiple distributors and stores nationwide.

McCain Foods USA frozen hash brown products that may be contaminated with extraneous golf ball materials. The impacted products distributed in GA include Harris Teeter Brand, 2 lb. Bag of Frozen Southern Style Hash Browns (UPC 007203649020).Consumption of these products may pose a choking hazard or other physical injury to the mouth.

Request Foods, Inc., Atkins Chicken with Cheese and Bean Burritos with best-by date of Dec. 19, 2017, shipped nationwide. The products are mislabeled as a chicken with cheese and bean burrito, but contain an egg and sausage burrito product. The product contains egg and soy, known allergens, which are not declared on the product label. The products have establishment number “P-17644” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

Jimmy’s Cookies LLC, The Bakery Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Cookies (LOT #047) from all retail stores and bakeries, because the product may contain undeclared milk.

WFSP Foods LLC., ready-to-eat chicken breast products due to under-cooking, distributed for foodservice nationwide at hotel, restaurant and institution locations. Products include “Chef’s Line All Natural Fire Grilled Chicken Breast” and “saladworks Fully Cooked Flame Grilled Chicken Breast Fillets.” The products subject to recall include establishment number “P-45411” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

(Feed) Party Animal Cocolicious dog food products, including Beef & Turkey dog food (Lot #0136E15204 04, best by July 2019) and Chicken & Beef dog food (Lot #0134E15 237 13, best by August 2019), in 13-oz cans after samples tested positive for pentobarbital.

Soylent 1.8 Powder meal replacement recalled due to undeclared allergen ingredient of milk. The product was sold direct to customers (Lot #: G7076PA, Expiration / Best Buy date: 02/2018), who may request a refund/replacement at
