Woman arrested for elderly abuse in Moultrie

MOULTRIE – A woman has been charged in connection with the abuse of an elderly patient at a Moultrie senior living facility.

Carolyn Edwards has reportedly been charged with two counts of simple battery and two counts of exploitation of an elderly person.

Officials have released few details about the arrest, but it came after an incident involving an 87-year-old man at Pruitthealth-Magnolia Manor.
