| March 24, 2017

VALDOSTA – The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced this week the 2017 NABC Coaches’ Division II All-America team, and Jeremiah Hill capped off his memorable senior season by making his way onto the list.

The honor for Hill adds to his growing list of accolades this season, which include First Team All-South Region, Gulf South Conference Player of the Year, and First Team All-GSC. In addition, Hill recently received a coveted invitation to compete alongside some of the best players in the nation at the 2017 Reese’s Division II College All-Star game on Friday at the NCAA DII Men’s Basketball Championship in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Hill placed himself among the top four scorers in the Gulf South Conference during his senior season with an average of 19.6 points per game. In addition, the Savannah, Ga. native led the Blazers in scoring, assists, and steals during a spectacular season in which he scored 30-plus points four different times.

Hill joined Delta State’s Devin Schmidt as one of just two GSC student-athletes to earn a spot on the All-America list of honorees. Selected and voted on by member coaches of the NABC, these student-athletes represent the finest basketball players across America.
