The Georgia State Patrol has released details on that fatal vehicular accident near Bainbridge on Monday. Brenda Solis was killed in the collision with a semi tractor-trailer driven by Anthony Mincey on Highway 27 and Bethel Road. 26 year old passenger Isesha Robinson was airlifted to a hospital in Tallahassee-no update on her condition. Troopers say that Solis pulled in front of the semi and her vehicle was struck on the drivers side.


Berrien County school bus driver Wayne Fender suffered a fatal heart attack while finishing his route Wednesday. The County Schools Superintendent reported that there were 11 students on board but non were injured when the bus pulled onto the side of the roadway. They were picked up by their parents. Fender had driven for the Berrien County system for 50 years.


Three people were killed and 7 others were injured in an explosion at the Beauregard plant of Packaging Corporation of America. Emergency Medical Responders transported most of the victims and one victim was airlifted. All at last report had been treated and one was discharged.
