Fund established to help child injured during Valdosta Christmas parade

VALDOSTA – A fund has been established to help the family of a three-year-old boy cope with medical expenses after he was injured during Valdosta annual Christmas parade.

London Herring fell out of a parade float on December 3. School officials say his jacket got caught, causing him to fall off and be run over.

“This unexpected tragedy has placed London in Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida with a small brain fracture, and him needing a possible skin graft transplant to the side of his face,” Nikita Berrian. “We are asking for small monetary donations to help his family with medical and traveling expenses so that they can be by his side during this Holiday season.”

Anyone wishing to contribute can find London’s GoFundMe page here.
