Three suspects arrested in VSU student robbery

VALDOSTA – A Valdosta State University student reported he was robbed Sunday afternoon, and now authorities have three suspects in custody.

The VSU student was reportedly walking along Patterson Street when he was approached by three males who demanded his cash, took it and then left on foot.

Two suspects were arrested withing seven to eight minutes of the incident, and a third was arrested later.

The case was investigated by the Valdosta State University Police Department with assistance from the Valdosta Police Department.
