Man accused of beating wife, fracturing infant’s skull

MOULTRIE – A Moultrie man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly beating his wife and her six-month-old baby on Tuesday.

Xavier Sims, 30, has been charged with aggravated battery and cruelty to a child.

Sims allegedly beat his wife and her child, leaving the mom with a broken nose and bruises and the baby with a fractured skull and a brain contusion.
